Marketing Consulting
I served as a marketing consultant, in partnership with FAITH Catholic Publishing, on a national communications initiative for the Black and Indian Mission Collection. The oldest national collection in the United States, it is active in 37 dioceses and serves African American, Native American, and Alaska Native Catholic communities.
Anchored in the theme “One Church. One Mission,” the project focused on strengthening diocesan awareness and participation in the collection while celebrating the faith, gifts, and contributions of the communities it serves. Through strategic communications, storytelling, and audience-centered content, the initiative helped connect parishioners with the Church’s ongoing mission.
Through research and discovery, I identified opportunities to strengthen the campaign with more firsthand stories illustrating the collection’s impact and to expand and modernize its communications channels.
I interviewed members of communities whose work has benefited from the collection, using their experiences to develop messaging and marketing content across print and digital platforms. In addition to a promotional print booklet, I developed campaign content for web, email, social media, and text messaging. My contributions included strategic messaging, storytelling, creative direction, editorial guidance, and copywriting.
